DAY 2: Downwind Racing

The wind was blowing even stronger, 30+ and the swell was gigantic. 

It doesn't get any better than 8 miles of downwind surfing!

Here we are at the start of the race.

Bigs went home with 2nd place in the Men's 12'6" Open Class 


Littler was 3rd for Women!

Princess Fiona was 4th in the Women's Elite Class... and she's only 15!
We love this girl!

RAGNAR RELAY

Here is half of our "Twisted Blister" Ragnar Relay Team

"Ragnar is the overnight running relay race that makes testing your limits a team sport. A team is made up of 6-12 individuals; each individual runs 3 legs. The legs of the race vary in difficulty and distance, from 3-8 miles, allowing elite and novice runners to run together. Over 2 days and 1 night, teams run across 200 miles of the country’s most scenic terrain. Pair that with crazy costumes, inside jokes, a great finish line party and unforgettable stories. Some call it a slumber party without sleep, pillows or deodorant. We call it Ragnar."

VEGAS WEDDING

At a wedding of a dear friend in Vegas.

I felt like George Banks from Father of the Bride here...

Franck: Uh-oh, I bring the wrong color thread. I assumed you be wearing a black tuxado.

George: It is a black "tuxado".

Franck: I don't think so, babe. This tux is "nuffy" blue. No doubt about it.

George: What are you talking about? Armani doesn't make a blue tuxedo.

Franck: Armani don't also make "polyaster".

MEMORIAL DAY

We took the new addition to our family to one of our favorite camping spots!
This isn't exactly our van but it's pretty close to it...

Honeymoon!

Hawaii is magical- I don't care what anyone else says.

New Year's Day 2012

Instead of making New Year's resolutions,
